Momo Marionette

I wasn't quite sure what category this went under, so I did the best that I could

Anyway, onto the description!

Everyone, this is Momo from Avatar: the Last Airbender! In order to finish him I had to literally stop working on all costumes except him for about five solid days, and it is totally worth it! I used: fleece for his fur, styrofoam for the body and head, craft foam for the ears, rolled newspaper for the limbs, and wire for the hands and feet. Fishing line and sticks from my backyard were used for the marionette part.

I owe a HUGE thank you to Puppets 2000 for providing the tutorial I used to build him [link] Without them this would've been MUCH harder.

I can't do as much with him as I'd like. He can do basic walking, simple arm movement, and he can sit

My dream came true while walking around (in Avatar Susan/Yangchen) with him for about half a day during Anime Expo. Two little boys walked up to him and started (very simply, mind you) interacting with him! They knew he wasn't real, but they were willing to play along ^__^ it made me so happy!

I would like to put up a picture with me in Yangchen [link] and holding Momo, but I haven't had much luck finding any yet. I'm pretty impatient though, seeing as the con ended today (well, technically yesterday XD).

I'm planning on bringing him and Yangchen to ComicCon, so I'll see you all there!
